Families are so important. Having grown up in a ‘minimal’ family as an only child I have found it especially rewarding for Hennie and me to have a ‘proper’ family. God gave us four remarkable children, and they in turn have given us grandchildren.

This gives us a lot to celebrate – as the above photo shows. Taken in Wales on Boxing Day we were preparing to explore the Brecon Beacons. Lots of water around… We were blown away by the sheer beauty of the place – and the panoramic views extending in every direction.
