  1. One of FEBC's partner broadcasting organisations, IBRA Radio, has developed a radio series to meet a similar need. "The Church in My Home" program series was developed in the context of North Africa originally but has more recently been adapted for use elsewhere. It is prepared especially for isolated believers in remote villages in N. Africa and the Middle East. These are places where no visible church is allowed by law. So individuals are encouraged to listen regularly to CIMH broadcasts and have "fellowship" with other believers meeting in similar circumstances eiethr in the same countries or in other Arab countries.
  2. Dawn China project uses Chinese radio programming to promote the planting of churches throughout China. The program series presents the biblical basis for reaching out and provides practical know-how and encouragement. If the present Christian congregations number around a half million in China, and if they each plant two more by the end of the century, the congregations will triple to 1.5 million. In this example we see radio as part of a two-step strategy for evangelism and church-planting.

Under the Taliban women in Afghanistan were denied the opportunity to receive an education. Some Christians saw this as an opportunity for using radio and daily broadcasts were prepared especially for providing educational broadcasts for these ladies.
