Training and Radio Programming Roles have always gone hand-in-hand in FEBC.
The first edition of Radio Programming Roles was originally intended to be a training handbook. It has been a major component of the Hands-on-Training (HoT) that equipped FEBC programmers and presenters with the essentials for program production during the 90s.
Now in this 2nd edition Radio Programming Roles also includes additional chapters of current interest - Dimensions of the Message, Incarnational Radio (i-Radio) and Finding Answers (Research).
Plans for new training initiatives are still being worked out so stay in touch with this site. Jan is the Training coordinator. We recommend that if you are interested in knowing more about training please use the Contact Us tab.
We plan to soon start developing materials for further study via the Moodle site connected to Radio Roles. In the meantime we suggest that you visit the Distance Media website to review what they have on offer.
